The short version: DebtUnlocked does not collect, store, or share any of your personal or financial data. Everything you enter stays on your device, encrypted, and never leaves it.

Data Collection and Storage

All data you enter — including income, debt balances, interest rates, and expenses — is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data and it is never sent to our servers.

Your financial information is encrypted on your device using iOS Keychain via expo-secure-store. We have no way to access, view, or recover this data.

Subscriptions and Payments

DebtUnlocked offers a Pro subscription managed through Apple's App Store. All payment transactions are processed directly by Apple. We do not store or have access to your payment information at any point.

Subscription management is handled via RevenueCat solely to track subscription status (active or inactive). No financial data is shared with RevenueCat.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

RevenueCat — subscription status management only. No personal or financial data is shared.

Apple App Store — payment processing. No payment details are ever shared with us.

Children's Privacy

DebtUnlocked is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
